Morel is a seasonal wild edible mushrooms with a unique earthy and nutty flavor. They are found around the base of apple and pine trees in the Northern area of Pakistan in Hindu Kush, Karakoram, and Himalaya mountain ranges. Their hunts start in spring and early summer when the snow melts and soil become soft and moist. Fresh Morels are then dried in sunlight or indirectly in a room heated by burning woods.

Fritillaria is a perennial flowering plant and is a part of the lily family. It is found on mountain slopes of Nepal, China, Kashmir, and Pakistan. The botanical name of Fritillaria is Fritillaria Cirrhosa, and in Chinese, its name is Chuan Bei Mu.

Kakdaseengi is found in the Himalayas, Kashmir, Sikkim to Bhutan mountain range at 600 to 2500 meters. Its botanical name is Pistacia Integerrima J. L. Stewart, ex Brandis. A different word is used for Kakdaseengi in a foreign language.

Himalayan Paris is a beautiful and romantic flower and much-sought plant. The botanical name of this plant is Paris Polyphylla. Its English name is Love apple, Hindi’s name is Satwa, Satuwa, and in the Chinese language, it is named Chong Lou.
Paris Polyphylla is found in the Himalayas range of Pakistan, Nepal, Kashmir, and West China at 2000-3000 m.

Saffron is an herb with a unique color and intense aroma. Saffron is rich in antioxidants, which have many health benefits.
Saffron spice is collected from the dried stigma of Crocus flowers. Farmers gather the flowers and then collect the threads from each flower by hand. These threads are then heated and cure to bring the distinctive flavor of Saffron.
Saffron mainly grows in Iran, Morocco, India, and Afghanistan on a large scale.

Salam Panja or Salab Panja is a herb, and the botanical name for this herb is Dactylorhiza Hatagirea. This herb grows in the high altitude mountain climate of Western and Central Himalayas, where the temperature is exceptionally harsh, mainly below the freezing point.
Different names are used for this herb in various regions, such as Salem Panja in Kashmir, March Orchis in Europe, and Ambolakpa in Ladakh.

Zanthoxylum alatum is a plant that grows up to 6 m, while its branches grow nearly 1.2 cm long. Its leaves are like trifoliate with leaf stalked wings. Flowers of Tejohva is very minute and yellow that arises from plate stalked wings. Its flowers contain six to eight sepals, and petals are absent in flowers. Its taste is bitter/pungent.
This plant grows in the Himalaya range of mountains with an altitude of 1000 to 2100m.
Its botanical name is Hydnocarpus wightiana, Hydnocarpus laurifolia.

Valerian is a perennial plant that grows mainly in grasslands areas of Asia, Europe, and America. The flower of Valerian is purple, white, and pink, and it blooms in summer. The botanical name for the Valerian plant is Valeriana Officinalis. The root of this plant is used for medical purposes.

Juniper berry is an evergreen shrub plant that grows 1 to 3 m in height. The botanical name of the Juniper berry is Juniperus Communis. Its growth in any part of the world includes Asia, North America, and Europe.
It produces seed cones, which is commonly known as Juniper berries. Its color varies, but the most common is deep blue.

Aconite is a ceaseless plant that grows up to 0.6 to 1.5m in height. Its flowers are blue or purple and helmet-shaped. The botanical name of Aconite Root is Aconitum napellus. It is found in many parts of Asia, Europe, Africa, America, and Canada.

Kutki is a small ceaseless herb and usually grows up to 20-30cm in height. This plant’s root is tubular, elongated, and straight or slightly curved, with few longitudinal and dotted scars, mostly attached to rhizomes.
The botanical name of Kutki is Picorrhiza kurroa. It is found in the Himalayas range of India, Pakistan, Kashmir, China, and Bhutan.

Knotgrass is an annual plant that grows up to 10 to 40cm in height. It belongs to the Knotweed family (Polygonaceae). The stem of knotgrass is semi-erect, and leaves are short and hairless. Knotgrass blooms from June to September. Mostly 2-4 small flowers, reddish to white.
The botanical name of knotgrass is Polygonum aviculare. Its roots are used for medical purpose

Banafsha is a perennial evergreen plant and grows up to 1-3 feet in height. Its leaves are ovate with a rounded apex and heart-shape at the base. It is found in Pakistan, India, Iran, and Afghanistan. The botanical name of the banafsha plant is Viola odorata.

False black pepper is a shrubbery plant with a flexible and brittle stem. The botanical name of False black pepper is Embelia Ribes. Its leaves are sharp and ovate at both ends and have a length of 3 inches and 1.5 inches broad. Flowers of Embelia ribes are small and white and possess short petioles with 3 to 4 inches in length. Its fruit is small, having resemblance with black paper, reddish-brown to black. It is also known as False black pepper. Fruits are found in bunches. The outer cover of the fruit is fragile and having seeds inside the fruit.
This fruit is located in the Himalayas range of China, Bhutan, Pakistan, India, and Nepal at 1500m.

Deer Musk is a chemical that is made from the male musk gland of Musk Deer. It is then dried and used in medicine, in food it is used as a flavouring, and in manufacturing, musk is used in perfumes and fragrances.
Our Deer Musk is from Pakistan, Kashmir, Gilgit and Astor Himalayan mountain.

Ban Kakri is also known as the Himalayan apple, is a plant found in the Himalayan range of Pakistan, Afghanistan, China and India. Ban kakri plant is located in the meadows and moist, forest shaded slop at an altitude of 2600-4500 m. The root and underground stem (rhizome) of this plant are used for medical purposes.
